For the teachers out there who still use overhead projectors because the new technology is confusing...skip learning powerpoint and go straight to prezi. Prezi is a nice presentation format that keeps things interesting and fresh.
It is not some radical tool that will make your students love learning but convert one or two of your powerpoints into a prezi presentation and see if your stundents respond to it in a positive way.
Getting your students to show interest in learning is half the battle. If your students are interested then they will learn the material/content. This is just one tool of many to help you win in that area.
