An International Plea To Teachers Everywhere

Sometimes it can be healthy to rant. To just rid yourself of the thoughts inside of you that drive you crazy. Many times for teachers that happens in the Teachers Lounge. There is a solace there that they can say anything a lot of what they want and receive understanding. This is one of those, to view all of these look at the Teachers Lounge page and read under the Talking Points header.

I go crazy thinking of all the teachers I personally know that do not care whether or not they do a good job. There is no reason to not have pride in your work.

Please, Teachers everywhere, take pride in what you do, and do not settle for your students expectations of themselves. That is ridiculous!

Set high expectations and work hard to meet them. Stop griping, complaining, and crying! It is sickening. Do better!!!!

With that said, I have no problem with a teacher who is less than awesome. I only have a problem with that if the teacher does not desire to be better.

Being bad is okay as long as you are learning, searching, actively working on improving your craft.
