Wearing the Right Shoes

This post is archived under the Teachers Lounge page and under the "How's It Going?" section. This section is designed to help you relax and offer advice that will keep you going.

Shoes make a difference in the way you feel at the end of the day.

Lets face it. Teachers are on their feet all day long and need comfortable shoes (that look professional).

Buying a comfortable pair of shoes will just make your life easier. Don't go home rubbing your feet all evening. Just splurge a little on some shoes that will do 3 things:

  1. Satisfy your principals dress code policy
  2. Make it through the day without killing you
  3. Make it through the year without falling apart
I put my dress shoes through a long day and so for me it is well worth it to purchase a nice pair of shoes that I know will last and I know will be comfortable.

Just a suggestion to keep on your feet and out of your seat.
(we all know the best teachers stand)
